Richard Bruton TD has confirmed that ALL schools in Munster will close Tomorrow (Thurs.) and Friday as a result of the status RED weather warning issued by Met Eireann No school for Darrara Pupils until Tuesday 6th March. Staff have training on Monday 5th.

The school will remain closed today Wednesday 28th February 2018 due to snow.

We are taking part in Goal Jersey Day on Friday. Pupils should wear their favourite sports jersey and bring 2 euro each.

You may have seen a news report about Well being and Resilience programmes being made available only in disadvantaged primary schools. Darrara NS has had these programmes for the last 3 to 4 years and use them in the summer term.

Darrara NS First Holy Communion takes place on Sat May 12th at 11am.

School closed January 8th for staff training in the new Primary Language Curriculum.

Parents, due to unforseen circumstances Christine is unable to teach guitar this year. Isobel will return in her place. She will start on Monday next
